The apartment is located in the small port village of Cabopino, which is only 12 km away from the center of Marbella. The name Cabopino means pine cape and that is the first thing you can expect to see after your arrival. The pine forests can be seen all throughout the village and stretch all the way to the beautiful Cabopino beach that can be found on both sides of the harbor. They are never too crowded and are surrounded by a natural park with sand dunes and pine trees. Next to the sand dunes you can also find a nudist beach which is a great place for naturists.
Compared to Puerto Banús the Cabopino port is small but all the more private and authentic. On the bay of the port there are some very good bars and restaurants with stunning views. A five-minute drive away, in the adjacent towns of Elviria and Calahonda, you will find shops with everything you may require. Cabopino also has its own 18-hole golf course. For many, it is considered one of the best kept secrets of the Costa del Sol.
